Of special importance, all steel water columns are welded according to specific ASME code provisions and procedures, Water columns and components such as gauges and valves are hydrostatically tested to 150% of design pressure.
The Importance of Boiler Trim & Safety
Oxygen trim
A closed-loop system that monitors the boiler's combustion and maintains a consistent air flow rate. This can help reduce fuel usage, increase boiler efficiency, and ensure safe oxygen levels.
Low-water cutoffs
These safety devices shut down the burner to prevent dangerous conditions, such as a waterside explosion.
